"PABLO" - RESERVED Lines Bros LTD Sportiboy circa 1921 - 37" high. Fully restored to the authentic factory finish, with a removable leather saddle and nailed on tack. The stirrups and bit are original. He has a replaced traditional cow hair mane and tail. Pablo was bought from an auction in South Africa and brought back to England in 2003. As he spent most of his life in a warm dry climate, he has had no woodworm damage or rot. It is rare to find the original caps covering the ends of the swing irons, and on the top rail, without corrosion. The stand is in remarkably good original condition. |
