CUSTOMISED  BLYBE / CCE DOLL

THE DOLL WITH COLOUR CHANGING EYES

 

I have used a Blybe doll to customise. I have sand matted her face, slightly carved her mouth, upper lip and nose. She now has coloured eye (acrylic pastels) shadow and blush, has been matt sprayed over her paint work - so it will not rub off. 

 I have customised her eyes and given her a totally one of a kind character eye (a unicorn with butterflies). Also a small horse on her eye lid, and tiny gold balls on the ends of her eyelashes.

She still has her original body (although would take a Licca doll body perfectly or obitsu). 

She is wearing a lovely handmade dress and she has sweet ballet style shoes and her stand.

Her hair is a secured wig (but if you wish to change it, it will come off with a very good tug, but it may damage the wig) The wig can be re-styled, but have left it original so her new owner can choose what she would prefer.

 

All my work is to a high standard and all dolls and outfits new.

 

These dolls are not of cause as good quaility as the original blithe dolls but they do stand up well to being played with and re-dressed etc. My daughter of 6 has one (with many wigs) and it takes the pounding a little girl can give a doll well. Except for losing the eye lashes due to being bathed and bathed she still works fine - even the hair is standing up the endless washing. There is also a small flaw on her one foot from manufacture, but doesn’t show if wearing shoes.

 

STRAWBERRY FAIR—ADOPTED

Customised OOAK Blythe Doll (RBL)

 

Strawberry Fair has been out with her woodland friends picking strawberries, which was actually very tiring work and whilst she has a quick nap a she might awake to find a few strawberries missing.

 

I have used a RBL blythe doll 

Works carried out:

**              I have sand matted her face and given her acrylic eye shadow and blush.

**              Given her new lashes and shaded her eye lids (has sleep eyes)

**              She has lovely life like eye chips for three eyes and one as flower accented one. 

**              Slightly carved her lips and nose. 

All has been sealed.

Hair:

I have added into her original wig with saran green high lights to the front fringe and also at the back of her hair near her neck given her some red high lights (all in keeping with her theme of strawberries)

She is wearing:

**              A lovely yellow dress with pictures of her loved cats (same as her pull strings and belt) also of                                   cause some strawberries

**              Has two lovely underskirts one having sew on beads for weight

**              A pair of over the knee socks, Marry Jane shoes and a pair of panties

**              Her belt is handmade with real chain, beads, a cat and the strawberry (same on her pull string)                 NB: The strawberry is real 18k gold plated

**              Has her little tie on hat and also a hair clip – for a different style

 

I have left her hair natural and it is really lovely to style. I have platted her for some of the pictures but it can be brushed and re-styled as you like.

(Note though I do not recommend getting her wet as it may damage her eye chips and lashes)

Strawberry Fair will come wearing her full outfit, shoes and hat as stated, and also her basket of strawberries (which are all individual) and her little mat and her stand. (all other items in the photos are not included)

 

This doll is sold as a collectors item and not suitable as a childs toy.
